"MAQSAT is a company that has developed in the technological area, with all the tracking solutions. We developed the software based on this. We have been in the market since 2010; today it is a company that is present throughout the country in different areas such as transportation, logistics, agriculture, forestry, everything that is the area where there are teams involved.
What did you bring to this edition of EXPOCARGA?
It is always a good opportunity to present new products. Today, we are very focused on video surveillance, but more than anything on road safety, with a very innovative technology team and software for monitoring and implementing 24/7 monitoring, mainly to detect cases of drowsiness and improper use of various tools such as cell phones, with effects on improving road safety and preventing accidents.
It appears in artificial intelligence, we are already talking about something quite serious in terms of what they offer, right?
Exactly, it is an artificial intelligence algorithm responsible for analyzing different facial characteristics, from which it triggers various events such as, for example, yawning, distractions, cell phone use, and although yawning is not something relevant, it can be the beginning of the driver's fatigue manifest.
If we yawn once in an hour, it is not an incident, but if we yawn 6, 7 times in 10, 15 minutes, the incident is obviously fatigue, it is already having an effect and a safety protocol is activated where the company is informed that the driver with symptoms of fatigue has such a license plate so that it can take action and thus avoid a possible accident, as has already happened.
In other words, this service is personalized, the protocol is agreed with the company, some signal is sent.
Exactly, above all this is very focused on companies that provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, where the night is difficult, also the day, because sometimes we think it is the nights, but the day is relevant, we have recorded that for example there is a time of major incidents, sometimes of tiredness, which is after lunch.
Then a communication protocol is established with the company, never with the drivers, always with someone responsible for the company's logistics area who is the one who determines the action and where they can access the software and check all these incidents.
It's a contribution to road safety, right?
In total, today we have more than 400 devices installed in the country and we believe that this is an area that everyone is targeting today because road safety is important for all of us and reducing accidents is very important.
