Municipality of Maldonado
SEEN: that by Resolution 01.397/2023, the Legislative's consent was requested to Declare as being of Departmental Interest the activities related to the 2nd Edition of the Uruguay Transport and Logistics Fair "EXPOCARGA 2023, which will take place from November 30 to 3.
December of this year in Punta del Este; CONSIDERING: that the Departmental Board issued a favorable decision in a session held on March 21, 2023, through Resolution No. 41/2023;
ATTENTION: to the above and to the provisions of article 1 of Departmental Decree No. 3,515;
THE MAYOR OF MALDONADO RESOLVES: 1) The activities carried out on the occasion of the 2nd Edition of the Uruguayan Transport and Logistics Fair ¨EXPOCARGA 2023, which will be held from November 30 to December 3 of this year in Punta del Este. 2) By the Document Administration Department, notify and communicate to the Press Department. Municipality of Punta del Este, Maldonado
RESULT I): that the 2023 edition of the EXPOCARGA Transport and Logistics Fair requests a declaration of municipal interest. II) that it will take place in Punta del Este at the Convention and Exhibition Center.
CONSIDERING: That this Municipality supports cultural, social and sporting events and activities of tourist interest and that contribute to the promotion of our main seaside resort.
ATTENTION: to what is established in Decree 3.862/10, Art. 13 of Law 19.272, to article 9 of the Regulation for granting distinctions, recognitions and declarations of interest to the Municipality and what was deliberated and approved unanimously (5 in the affirmative art.), in the Ordinary Session of September 28, 2022;
THE MUNICIPALITY OF PUNTA DEL ESTE RESOLVES: 1st) The Transportation and Logistics Fair called “EXPOCARGA” in its 2023 edition will be declared of Municipal Interest. 2nd) Notify it and give it wide publicity.
